CBS News is the news division of American television and radio broadcaster CBS, offering programs such as Evening News, Mornings, 60 Minutes and 48 Hours newsmagazine programs; political affairs show Face the Nation on Sunday morning; hourly newscasts to hundreds of radio stations via CBS News Radio as well as podcasts such as The Takeout Podcast. CBS also operates 24/7 as a 24-hour digital news network.

Susan Zirinsky served as president and senior executive producer of CBS News from March 1, 2019 until April 2021, after taking on her role on March 1. Zirinsky became the first female head of their news division when David Rhodes decided to step down citing declining ratings and revelations related to sexual misconduct allegations against CBS figures and himself. Her selection as replacement came shortly before David Rhodes announced his own retirement on January 6, 2019.
