CGTN Live Stream

CGTN, or China Global Television Network (CGTN) based out of Beijing is an English-language news channel run by China Global Television Network - an international division of China Central Television that falls under the purview of China Communist Party Central Propaganda Department.

CCTV-9 was introduced on 25 September 2000 and rebranded as CCTV News on 26 April 2010, becoming part of CGTN on 6 February 2012. On 8 October 2019, CGTN Europe made its debut, broadcasting from Washington D.C. On 11 January 2012, CCTV Africa debuted in Nairobi Kenya before all channels and divisions in CCTV International Group were rebranded as CGTN on 31 December 2016.

CGTN currently boasts four studios: Beijing (headquarters), Nairobi, Washington and London; as well as 70 bureaus worldwide.
