DW News English Live

DW News, broadcast by Deutsche Welle (DW), is an international television news program which was first shown live during summer 2015.

On 22 June 2015, DW News made its debut and replaced programs such as Journal. This 24-hour service seeks to be Germany's version of international news channels like BBC News or France 24; transmission worldwide by satellite. Furthermore, an English website and YouTube channel titled DW Turkce (German for World Won) have also been made available since 19 April 2011 respectively.

In the US, DW News airs at the top of each hour on public media broadcasts in some regions (e.g. Northern California) or is rebroadcast by public media stations similar to Journal. Link TV also broadcasts this program nationwide as does YouTube under different names such as DW English Documentary etc. Additionally a livestream is available via their website while in Australia it airs overnight as part of WorldWatch programming or replacing missing or removed programs on ABC News and SBS respectively.
