NASA TV Live Stream

NASA TV is the television service provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Broadcast via satellite with simultaneous simulcast on the internet, NASA TV features programming relating to space exploration. Cable providers across the United States and amateur television repeaters may choose to distribute NASA TV at their discretion; as its content falls within public domain. NASA TV can be found through various cable, satellite, and over-the-top media services worldwide. Established formally in the early 1980s to provide NASA managers and engineers with real-time video of missions, and utilized as an archive as well as provide media outlets with video footage, NASA has operated their television service since the start of space flight to meet this need.

The network offers educational programming and provides live coverage of numerous crewed missions (including International Space Station visits), robotic missions and domestic/international launches. NASA completed its transition from analog to digital transmission in late 2005 after STS-114's launch; although some cable television systems may still transmit in analog before U.S. digital transition. For satellite link transmission purposes they use DVB-S system.
